Aeris Beauté & Maudy Ayunda Bring About Innovative Products

Beauty products that are increasingly popping up on the market make consumers have to be more observant in choosing which ones are the best and safest to use. When it comes to beauty tools, Maudy Ayunda, a famous Indonesian celebrity, said that she is suitable to use a local brand called Aeris Beauté.

In fact, Maudy Ayunda and Aeris Beauté have collaborated with the same vision and mission of prioritizing and knowing oneself better. The collaboration gave birth to the “Dreamkeeper Guided Journal” as well as a series of personal care products.

Maudy was directly involved in creating several innovative products consisting of On The Go Premium Set, Dreamy Sweater and Dreamy Headband. The products themselves are useful for caring for individuals, especially women, both from within and from outside.

The collaboration that has been going on since November 2021 has resulted in a series of beauty products that have been the choice of some customers until now. Patricia and Teresa as the founders of Aeris Beauté provide good choices for women who want to get high-quality makeup and skincare equipment.

Competing with Foreign Products

The two of them built Aeris Beauté to provide makeup and skincare tools, of which quality are comparable to imported products. Patricia said, “As the name suggests, Aeris means down to earth, affordable with high quality and also environmentally friendly. We launched Aeris makeup products since last September 2018.”

“The popular international makeup tools were very expensive. On the other hand, at that time there were no local brands that produced international quality makeup tools. Aeris was a pioneer in the Indonesian beauty industry which focused on producing only beauty tools and not cosmetics,” she explained.

“We want to bring something different to Indonesian people: international quality, premium beauty tools consisting of makeup tools, skincare tools, hair tools, to wellness tools but with beautiful designs and affordable prices,” added Patricia.

Featured Products

Aeris Beauté released its first collection of beauty sponges called “Mrs Blendie” and brush sets called “The Onyx” and “The Coral”. This year, Aeris Beauté introduces complete products including individual brushes, brush sets, make up cleaning tools, sponge cases, electronic skincare tools, Rose Quartz skincare tools, and make up cases.

Patricia explained that Aeris Beauté also collaborated with a number of other public figures, including the famous makeup artist Bubah Alfian. “The best sellers are ‘Smart skincare tools’ (Smart Photon Light Therapy Device & Smart Sonic Facial Cleansing Device), Blendie Bars (soap for washing makeup brushes), and Onyx and Coral brush sets.”

Interestingly, Aeris prioritizes quality products that are friendly to the environment. Aeris has ensured that its products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. “That means we don’t use any animal ingredients or by-products in our formulas,” said Patricia.

“We know that when you grow, we grow. So, we make sure to price fair and square,” she said. According to her, Aeris creates great products without bad stuff, while giving customers the best experience.

Social Actions

Patricia and Teresa don’t just do business but also try to be a blessing to people who are less fortunate. Since its inception, Aeris has carried out a number of social activities.

Aeris has partnered with a non-profit humanitarian organization, WorldHarvest, which was founded in 1989. This partnership aims to help end the brutal cycle of poverty in Indonesia through education.

“Since launching in September 2018, we have sponsored 14 underprivileged children in their education and nutritious food for two full years. It is our mission to sponsor as many children as possible so that they and the next generation have the opportunity to get out of poverty once and for all, forever,” said Patricia.

When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, in April 2020 precisely, Aeris held Aeris X Project Hope to distribute Procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), specifically 700 Virus Transport Equipment, to health workers and people who live in unreached geographical areas including Yogyakarta, South Kalimantan, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, West Java and West Kalimantan.

Aeris in August 2020 partnered with the social enterprise Liberty Society to empower female refugees from Somalia, Afghanistan, Yemen, and Iraq. They previously experienced a traumatic experience and are currently living in Bogor.

Finally Patricia said, “Through the creation of 1,200 Aeris bags, we were able to help educate, train, and return a sense of purpose back to women, giving them work they can be proud of.”
