LookLab Combines Beauty Stores with Lifestyle Experiences
Aesthetics Daily – Recent beauty trends show that in general, consumers are more inclined to choose beauty stores that offer a wide selection of beauty brands in one place. To answer this need, PT Paragon Technology and Innovation made a breakthrough by opening its first LookLab store on last September.
This store carries a unique concept, promoting a combination of a beauty store and a lifestyle experience. LookLab, which is located at Lippo Mall Puri, Lower Ground floor, provides a broad selection of beauty products of several brands, all of which belong to Paragon, including Wardah, Make Over, Emina, Putri, Kahf, TAVI, LABORÉ, and Biodef.
Sheilla Firdausa as Head of Innovation Lead of PT Paragon Technology and Innovation says, “LookLab’s philosophy is a combination of a beauty lab and creative science. This can be seen from the shop design which is made futuristic as well as aesthetic.”
LookLab, as Sheilla says, tries to meet the needs of everyone including children, youth and families, both women and men. According to Sheilla, LookLab guarantees that all products of every brand are completely available at LookLab, including newly launched products.
LookLab is called a concept store that presents a unique sensation where visitors feel like they are seemingly in a laboratory that combines lifestyle and beauty elements in one place.
Salman Subakat as CEO of PT Paragon Technology and Innovation explains that the first LookLab store is made specifically to meet the need for cosmetic and skincare products. This shop is not only for women but also men who come from different segments, from teenagers to adults.
The presence of LookLab allows customers to broaden their shopping experience. They are expected to come to the store not only to look for cosmetic and skincare product needs, but also to get a lifestyle experience.
“As the market leader for cosmetic products in Indonesia, Paragon is again innovating through LookLab to meet the rapidly changing consumer needs for cosmetic products,” adds Salman.
Salman says “Therefore, LookLab is here not only to offer a beauty space, but LookLab also ambitiously wants to collaborate with various parties and improve the lifestyle experience of beauty enthusiasts through art spaces, creative meetups, and so on.”
As Paragon’s first Lifestyle Hub, LookLab carries four pillars that are implemented in every part of the store, namely Halal Technology, Creativity, Innovation, and Sustainability.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of services including consulting with beauty advisors, trying Virtual Try-Ons for various cosmetic products, playing in the AR Games corner, and capturing memorable experiences by taking pictures at Photomatics. LookLab also has a gift wrapping facility for visitors who want to present gifts in the form of Paragon products.
Looklab provides recycling bins for visitors who want to recycle their cosmetic and/or skincare packaging. This effort is in line with one of LookLab’s pillars, Sustainability. Furthermore, these unused packages will be distributed to LookLab partners for recycling.
“Since its inception, Paragon has been consistent and committed to providing quality assurance and product innovation to consumers to encourage the growth of the local and global beauty industry,” says Salman. In addition, in building the domestic beauty industry, Paragon also consistently puts forward high standards that focus on research, technological advancement and innovation.
Salman explains that the presence of LookLab is a manifestation of Paragon’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and sustainable shopping experience for consumers by strengthening offline and online channels.
After opening its first store at Lippo Mall Puri, LookLab will also soon be expanding to several cities in Indonesia and offering other exciting experiences starting early next year.
